Aworan the Yoruba word for image - is a body of work built over twelve years of practice between Lagos and the United Kingdom. This Leicester showing brings around twenty-five framed photographic and digital works to the Lightbox Gallery, extending the conversation begun with my solo exhibition at Atirira Gallery, Lagos, and introducing a UK audience to contemporary African photography.
It opens deliberately at the start of UK Black History Month 2026. Entry is free throughout, and everyone is welcome - come for the launch night, or drop in any weekday.
