A solo exhibition of around twenty-five framed photographic and digital artworks, extending the conversation begun with the Atirira Gallery solo show in Lagos and introducing a UK audience to contemporary African photography. BAFA 2026 — Bradford African Festival of Arts
Exhibiting Sanctuary of Nature at the Bradford African Festival of Arts, themed Nkosoo — the Akan word for advancement. Selected by open call from more than fifty UK-wide applicants. I engaged with BAFA in three capacities — exhibiting artist, festival photographer, and documentarian of the wider programme — delivered with Arts Council England, Bradford Council, the University of Bradford and the British Council as part of Bradford's UK City of Culture 2025 season. RBSA Summer Show Exhibition
Selected by open submission to one of the UK's oldest fine art societies (founded 1814), exhibiting the digital artwork Iya Laje (84 × 59cm, unique edition) — "mother of the home" in Yoruba — a portrait of heritage, motherhood and spiritual authority, reviewed by Independent Nigeria as "an archive of inheritance and the spiritual anchor of the home." Aworan — Solo Exhibition at Atirira Gallery
A solo presentation of twenty works surveying twelve years of practice — composed and documentary photography exploring identity, resilience and the relationship between subject and environment, rooted in Yoruba visual tradition. In Thought was acquired by a private collector, the collection's first confirmed sale. The exhibition drew coverage across eight major Nigerian outlets: ThisDay Live, Vanguard, The Nation, Independent, Channels Television, Silverbird, TVC and Rave TV.
Dreams & Nightmares — 2nd Edition, Boomer Gallery
Two works — Sanctuary of Nature and Stillness in the Storm — selected for the gallery's Dreams & Nightmares exhibition in the Tower Bridge district, chosen as one of roughly 200 artists from more than 2,000 international open-call submissions. The Aworan Journey
Aworan began as a personal record of travels around the world — from the Thames to the Eiffel Tower, from studio compositions to real-life moments. The collection continues to grow, one frame at a time. Aworan 2.0 is coming soon to Nigeria.
